Trailer Training Throughout South West Wales From The Suen Andrews Driving School
From the 1st January 1997 any driver passing their standard
car test must sit and pass a B+E separate trailer test in order to tow any
trailer/horsebox/boat trailer e.t.c. which exceeds 750kg in weight, by law.
Failure to do so would lead to serious fixed penalty endorsement/fine and
insurance possibly being null and void in case of an accident.
At Suen Andrews Trailer Training we will provide first class trailer training
whether it is for work, pleasure or incidental use for towing all types
of use and needs.
The driving school is proud to provide trailer training throughout Pembrokeshire,
Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Swansea and Neath areas. Training can be locally
to the student (conditions apply to dependent booking) or with one of our
residential courses including accommodation in Pembrokeshire.
We have both female and male towing instructors, we are able to offer female
only trailer training as well as male and mixed classes. So our school is
able to accommodate most preferences.
Our driving school has combined experience of over 40 years; just a phone
call and we will arrange everything for you to take your B+E Trailer Test.
Typically a course is set over two days training as follows:
1st Day trailer Training
09:00 - 12:00 (Driving)
Lunch
13:00 - 16:00 (Driving)
2nd Day Trailer Training
09:00 - 12:00 (Driving)
Lunch
13:00 - 15:00 (Trailer Test at Test Centre of Your Choice)
After the first day there is normally a 7 day period to practice before the test on the 2nd day, however all training can be condensed to run day after day.
The one day course is for all students who can tow but perhaps have not
actually tried a B+E test for whatever reason and need to refresh their
skills.
The two day course is for people with experience who just need to iron out
the kinks and bring their driving skills up to a standard required for their
B+E test.
The three day course is for partially skilled students
The four day course is for complete novices with little or no towing experience.
